Importance of Value Education

What is value education? It is the inseparable part of education that teaches the children moral values such as kindness, honesty, charity, compassion, etc. It teaches us the value of goodness, the value of being loving and kind.

It is like a candle which shows the right path and put an end to darkness, hatred, agony, jealousy and other evils. It acts like a mirror which tells the value of our actions and how they can affect us very strongly.

Value education is a true and a meaningful education as John Ruskin said “Education means teaching children to be clean, active, honest and useful.’ It is an important job to teach children basic values to improve their future as well as the worlds. Value education prepares the base of the children by sowing the seeds of moral values.

Values like loving, forgiveness, caring, helping others are not simply wastage of time. Life without them is like a rudderless boat. Values make character. Values develop our personality. They help us to grow like a beautiful flower, giving fragrance to others.

In value education, children easily learn these values through different stories, which are very effective. They change us into a very good person. If we are good to others they are good to us.

Moral education is very compulsory in a child’s life to attain success as honesty is the best policy in life to achieve dreams.

Value education teaches the children the value of honesty. A successful person who is not honest cannot achieve lasting success. Dishonesty is a heavy burden. A dishonest person lives in the fear that he will be caught. He has to tell hundreds of lies to bury one lie.

The future of the country is made by the future of its children. Value education moulds children to be trustful and become good citizen with love towards their country and society. Therefore, value education is necessary for a brighter future of the nation.

Value education creates a pleasing person, a loving and compassionate society and a bright future of the nation. I say that ‘life without values is like a lake without water’.

School Essay on ‘Sports’

‘Exercises are the key route to fitness,’ it is said truly. Exercises play a major role in the development of our body, but people get bored of doing regular exercises. In that case, sports are the best option. As when we play sports we do exercises as well we learn a new game. Some examples of active and exciting sports are: Football, Baseball, Basketball, Badminton, and so on.

We get many beneficial things which make sports an inseparable part of our lives. People play sports to obtain physical as well as mental and social benefits, some of which are the following: We learn the qualities of a good sport such as the importance of winning and losing which gives the determination to try, try, try, again till we win. We experience a cool and a graceful start before our daily tiring routine by playing sports in morning. When played in evening, sports give us a bright, fresh and a cheerful mood to help us to forget all our stress and start a new beginning. It also improves our power to concentrate. Our brain soon develops the ability to think, understand, make plan and respond swiftly when winning or losing the match. We also learn the importance to follow and lead others in times in order to be successful. It was rightly said that “The battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton"

Sports are not only useful in personality terms but also are useful in physical terms. They are must for body’s perfect growth. By playing sports we become rough and tough and are able to face many physical tests and challenges. It improves our stamina and thus our capacity to do our work quickly also improves. Sports help us to keep our muscles in good tone and our bones to become strong. Regular sports helps us our heart, brain, lungs, and blood vessels to work well. It also helps our nervous system to work well by supplying extra blood to the brain. In general term human body seems to work well when we do regular exercises.

So many things are linked with sports, that we learn are important, to bring our dreams under our feet. It helps us to bring our body, spirit and mind in good health. Sports are very important part of our lives; we must not ignore them as they improve our personality growth.

Life is similar to cooking, if we don’t add spices, it becomes so tasteless. Adding spices makes our food tasty and wonderful. So do sports add spice to our life making it tasty, fun-filled, and joyful.

Expression of Gratitude to My Mentor

Dear Mentor,

You will always be in my heart and your words will always remain in my mind

You are like a flower in the forest, sharing your fragrance and beauty with those who are searching their way. Your soothing voice is heart touching. Your smile is so cheering; your words are so encouraging as if getting up from deep sleep.

I came to know even brighter Bhavya under you. You are like a potter who molded me, nourished my hidden talents and generated the pearl from my oyster shell.

Your values and prayers helped me to make my wall strong to face any obstacles. You taught me that, ‘Failures are the stepping stones towards success’. I learnt what I can achieve from the method of healthy competitiveness.

You brought a change in me which is the only constant in life. Because of your persuasion I have turned into a positive thinking person. You have mended the holes in my confidence. You have enlightened me to find the end of darkness. Your little examples influenced me so much that I have the aspiration and urge of knowledge and education.

This year has been a crucial year of my life just because you always kept me first to represent the class. I won the prize for the Best All Rounder. I owe this prize to you because you gave me the confidence that anything is possible because – Impossible is ‘I’ ‘M’ ‘POSSIBLE’. It is a turning point towards being like a star in life, huge with knowledge and shining with values. If in future anyone will say, ‘You must have worked hard to achieve it’. I will say, my mentor worked even harder than me’.

You paid individual attention to quench my thirst of knowledge and understanding. You removed my doubts and short–comings. You taught me that when I stop learning I stop growing. You have made me realize that a little extra effort transforms a person from ordinary to extra-ordinary. Your guidance taught me that I have to become a well versed person, loved and respected by all.

Because of your support the Golden Year of Sophia has also been a Golden Year of my life.

A big vote of thanks to you, my Mentor, I hope you will be proud of me
